Olivia J. Thirlby is an American actress best known for her roles as Leah, the best friend of Ellen Page's character in the 2007 film Juno; as Natalie in The Darkest Hour and Judge Cassandra Anderson in Dredd.

Olivia resides in New York City where she was born and raised. She has trained extensively in classical Shakespearian acting in New York at the American Globe Theatre, and in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She began acting professionally in 2003, and plans to pursue a career in both theater and film.

Completed stage combat course with British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat (BASSC) while on the Shakespeare summer school at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.

Attended Friends Seminary in New York City for 12 years.
